That depends Alan. A lot of hobbies are done in a little room or a workshop with big bright lights and music going.

I would say private masturbation is a hobby. Sickness comes when you cause sores to form from overuse or having to work on one's hobby in public. Strictly a no-no one imagines.

I have always loved building and working on machines. Maybe I will try out playing with some speedy remote controlled cars. Sounds like fun to me. I still have a couple mini cars I built and painted as a child.

I love fractals. When I was in school learning to be a programmer I created a program that generated fractals. It was cool because it had a random generator for the code and math section so I never quite knew what would come up.

Ahhh. When I was in school I used to read Benoit Mendelbrot (The Mendelbrot Set) and Edward Lorentz allot. It was my hobby reading. Great stuff. Keep fiddling!!!

Have never done the graphic side of it though.....applied to data sets is hours of amusement for myself. Mmmmmm

Oh Duh. If I would actually look at the picture. Its a variation of the Mendelbrot Set. three terms I think in the equation x=n-1 not sure.

But if you can slap an animation and a zoom on that baby........get ready to waste some time. Pretty good PTSD medicine...takes the mind somewhere else....not sure where.
