I was in an abusive relationship in college, dropped out to get away from it. I was assaulted, beaten, raped, harassed many times. I stayed too long. I was fine for two years. Now developing PTSD symptoms, started when a guy asked me out (never went out with him).
After a few months I just figured out yoga every day has helped with stress. been better about breathing during flashbacks. Flashbacks happen daily, getting used to that. Hardest part is trusting people. I don't know how to open up anymore. I'm always paranoid about people. That paranoia has made my friendships suffer; therefore, I don't have many close friends.
Any tips on stopping flashbacks, help to realize emotional flashbacks, help to overcome nervousness around people would be appreciated.
