You made me smile AND get tears in my eyes because I did the same thing when I joined here! How funny are we? We SO expect judgement and harshness and when there isn't any it's SO surprising!

You don't have to write any more if it doesn't feel cool or it's awkward, we all know what you mean! :)

I'm so glad to hear you are doing a bit better. I hope you are gathering energy to attack the med issue and get on top of that. It needs to be done and you are definately WORTH the effort of getting the best medical care that you can.

What we have is no different (in fact sometimes I think worse) than cancer, or diabetes, etc. We need medical attention, medication, and support to get better.

As far as reading my diary and thinking you are 'whining'........well, I'm not sure what trauma or traumas you have had in your life, but I am sure that whatever it was affected you very badly and you are suffering.

Suffering can not be compared between people on any level. Suffering from triggers, mood swings, intrusive thoughts, nightmares, flashbacks, dissociation........I don't care what caused it, it is a horrific type of suffering.

Please take care of you.........treat you kindly and stick around. You'll get a lot of understanding and support.......

ps...don't buy into what your family says about you.......lay their ignorant judgements aside and don't let them affect you. You don't need any more suffering.

I just wanted to welcome you to the forum. I know you are struggling right now and I understand the nature of this struggle, having had my own for decades. I too suffer from PTSD/Depression for most of my life but the hard work to overcome 99% of it paid off.

Just want you to know you are not alone anymore and have a lot of people on here, ready willing and able to listen and help in which ever way they can. And I am certain that you will be able to give back to them too.
