I'm not sure exactly which section this should be under. This one seemed to be the most accurate based on the content of the program, but I won't be offended if it needs to go elsewhere.
Did anyone see this past weekend's episode of "In Plain Sight"? It portrayed a soldier with PTSD. (As a warning to those on here that have PTSD related to combat, it could serve as a potential trigger, by the way) I was wondering what you guys thought of the portrayal of the characters involved? What other programs/ movies have you seen that have portrayed those with PTSD, and what did you think?
The portrayal of PTSD in programs that I've seen is one reason why I keep pretty quiet about having this. Does it affect your ability to be open to people?
(OOPS! Typo in the thread title. Sorry!)
