I've been here for a few days, but only just noticed the introduction forum.
I'm currently in therapy for my PTSD, after waiting 3 years to get in with a therapist (they wouldn't even consider me as a patient until I had to be brought in by the police to be hospitalized, great healthcare system). End rant.
The skills I am learning are somewhat helpful, but I think that being here and knowing I'm not alone, and being able to see that some of my symptoms are more common than I thought, will be very helpful to me.
Everyone I have interacted with so far here has been great :) Looking forward to being a part of this community.
