This Quote Makes Me Feel a Little Better

I didnt know where to post this but when i saw it, it made me smile so i knew i had to paste it on my fridge and come share it on this board.. i was reading today and came across this: :smile:

I like this quote.. Don't know who said or wrote it :

I have experienced an enormous amount of grief around how much time I have lost during my PTSD. Although I am so much better today, I lament over the last 3 years which seems to be a blur of wasted time, financial loss, and just an overall inability to function and participate in life.. I come from a family with a very strong work ethic, so it was not hard for me to feel like I was, or am, a burden to society.. So, I really like this quote, because it helps remind me that there is a 'Big Picture' to all of this, which someday will unfold it's secret.

There is an affirmations group, but this thread might allow a broader scope of quotes and discussion. I like the ones already posted. Tija, I can really relate to the feeling of losing time (years) and missing opportunities, but who knows where we'll be years down the road?
