Is It Normal To Forget How Old You Are?

On the rare occasion I do; I think I am a year younger usually.

I'm 23 if that makes you feel better.

Normal for me. I always laugh it off...the last person to ask me received this answer from me, " I'm 32!. . Oh wait no, I am 33/crap that's not right either. 34! Yes 34 cause I don't want to think about next year...I just had a birthday that's why I forgot. " LOL we were in patient in A hospital so they already knew about my PTSD which to a new bipolar friend made the whole conversation hysterically funny. :)

I'm 38, just had a birthday. I don't forget my age, so much as the actual date of my birthday. Earlier on, I couldn't tell on year from the next and ever knew add off the top of my head....

I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one. I bought a bottle of wine the other day at the grocery store and the cashier asked to see my ID. I guess she couldn't see all the grey hairs. Then she wanted to know my name, my birthdate, and how old I was. I struggled with the last one - barely got to take the bottle home with me.

Yep, I have to count - if I guess I usually guess older than I am but often within a year or two so not that bad.

On a side note, I know many people who know exactly what they will be doing on their birthday months away from their birthday. I have one friend when we are making plans in June for a lunch date will say 'well my birthday is September 2nd and I might be out of town so I can't have lunch then...'
