Nicolette is the admin for supporters... she is backup if I get ill and cannot perform my duties. Unless Nicolette has already run it past me, then don't get excited... as she said, we both see things differently, and this forum is done my way overall. Whilst I listen and take into account member requests, there are usually bigger things at play.
As stated, the moment you do it for one group, you MUST do it for every request from every group that then requests the same thing. This is why this forum is kept as two groups, PTSD and supporters. The moment you break down those groups, it goes to shit and then every members request must be adopted.
Think about that for a minute. You may just be thinking about yourself and your request... if you opened that door, I would be flooded with requests, you would endup with something between an extra 10 - 50 topics as forums, all being subjective groups. Think about this outside of this area... as if I let it occur here, then it is forum wide... that means, a forum for every type of trauma suggested to me, if valid abnormal trauma type, I would have to create a forum because it was done here for combat spouses. What about spouse of MVA's? Emergency services? Spouses for every abnormal trauma type?
Nicolette is my wife, and she sometimes does things without waiting for my response as she did bring this up in the staff section but I had not replied... and whilst feedback is positive for it, the answer why I don't do it is easy, being the above points.
