I was in your son's position when I was 10 and it was terrifying. I can't begin to imagine the helplessness you must be feeling as a parent. But you can get through this. You're a wonderful mother because you want to protect your children from harm and you've been so strong for them. Your lawyer and your T are right behind you and so are we.

Love and strength to you.

Aine

(((Marie))),

I read this and my heart goes out to you. Please follow you gut, and don't let anyone intimidate or dissuade you from acting in the best interest of your children.

Children do not lie about abuse, and you are doing the best thing possible by maintaining your sole custody and no contact. We are here to support you.

Deb

And umm, it is rather hard to say, but I been through a similar thing my older son has. My father molested me from the age of 2-7yrs old. I'm glad I am a loving mother to my beloved son(s). They mean the world to me!!!!!!!!

I thank you Anie and Deb for your support!!! (((Big Hugs))) And of course Linking arms

*Sigh* Last night I had a huge panic attack!! For at least 5 or so hours I thought I was still with my abuser in Canada. I started to sob almost the whole time. One thing that made me feel horrible and ashamed was that involuntarily I was almost calling out my abusers name. And I expected my mother in law to walk through the door to abuse me as well. I felt so overwhelmed that I threw up. Thank God my kids were asleep and it was during the evening. It was terrifying!!

*Got to Breath*

Hi Marie - I've had similar episodes where the intensity has been so overwhelming that it's led me to throwing up in the toilet. I'm sorry you're going through this. I know it hurts really bad right now. Remember times like this call for extra special attention to taking care of yourself. Be kind to yourself. Go easy on yourself. Remember to breath. Wrap yourself in a cozy blanket. Hugs and much love. Heather

Hi Marie. I think I agree you sound like a bit of a lioness. I also agree you are doing the best you can by maintaining sole custody and keeping away from contact. I think sometimes we can only control what we can. And blocking it out is the easy way my mother took. I am so proud of you for standing up for your cubs.

It would really make me angry if someone took away my choice to keep away from contact. I would be fuming, I like old ladies, but I don't like that one.

Why me and My kids?!

So my lawyer calls me and tells me to be prepared for the evaluator to let the kids meet their father, the abuser, kiddie predator.

I had no choice but to tell my kids and my older one is hurting, but he knows he is safe in his loving mother's arms.

If by chance he gets to see them alone with the evaluator, I hope he rots in hell over how grown up and cute his kids are and that he begins to eat himself alive inside.

God knows that I don't want him to lust after my lil 4yr old. Last time abuser saw him was when he was 4 months.
