It's Here! The Official Diagnosis For Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder

from my research and discussions with neuropsychologists, CPTSD does exist. You are correct that DSM and ICD does not accept CPTSD, not neccesarily AS "complex", but mentioned under continuous (IIRC) and chronic. I was proposed for DSM4 and DSM5, and has been declined for both.
I found the most recent eval and the DSM5 code is 309.81 & 331.83.

I am not concerned about the research on the web Anthony. I have done a lot there, yes. However, I will take into serious consideration comments and verbal diagnosis from a doctor that is sitting just a few feet away far quicker than I will anything online.

However, I also have in front of me a sheet showing a misdiagnosis from many years back (1986). And the codes from that (unsure what they mean and no idea if they really exist or how accurate they are or were) are 3.21ggr, 312.00, 310.2, and V62.5.
And I have no idea where to go to look for those as it is not specified the source for the codes. could be older ICD or DSM4. I dunno.

309.81 - Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
331.83 - Mild Neurocognitive Disorder (various options available specific to physical issue)

Complex trauma is real. Complex PTSD, as a diagnosis, is not. You have given your numbers diagnosed, I have given you their official diagnostic title. The two should not be confused, and that is the exact issue.

Good. I ask you then, when you see them next, to give you the diagnostic code for complex PTSD, contained in either manual for diagnostic use. If they aren't using the DSM or ICD... then guess what? They're making shit up as they go... and that is dangerous and shouldn't have any license to practice mental health.

I think I've now actually concluded, this topic will just be closed, because nobody to date has brought any evidence to the table making such a diagnosis factual, and this discussion becomes argumentative for people against their belief system versus factual mental health doctrine.
