Yeah, that's what I'm thinking of doing.

Although what I DO know is that urine and feces will actually bleach color out of fabric, so I want to find ones with patterns for the bottom sheet so that way any mishaps won't show as much. I also know that the better quality the fabric, the better it will wear. I was actually sewing a little quilt at one stage, by hand, so I might finish that off over time as well.

Sheets are SUPER easy to make too, so I think I'll have some fun with that. I'll also post up some pictures of fabric I like as I find it, and see how I go.

It would be nice to create a theme to my nursery that is pretty yet not dictated by stupendous prices and patterns.

My personal favourite color is blue, and his is yellow, so I might see if I can't create something pretty yet functional that will last for a long while.

Memories are made of quality times and items, I refuse to buy crap that won't last the first few years, the items that my mum made for me I now have, and are really precious to me.
