And it would be selfish not to share this information.

I was at the pharmacy when something caught my eye - "rescue night" bach flowers remedy.

I have extreme paranoia when I try to sleep, Adhd and a racing mind. I also have nightmares and negative dreams. Anyway I thought what do I have to lose? Things are so bad already I am desperate for a good night's sleep. I took a few drops of this and felt totally relaxed and my mind slowed down and I was able to sleep peacefully, for the first time in a long time!

I did wake up once from kicking myself in my sleep (I move in my sleep and wake up from it), but at least sleep was a much nicer, less scary experience than usual.

I recommend this product to everyone with paranoia and trouble sleeping.

I've taken Bach's regular Rescue Remedy. I'm not sure if it really helps or if it's the placebo effect, but I like *doing* something to try to manage the anxiety, anyway.
 
I really think it's not placebo because I am skeptical too, and it really did relax me.

Look at it this way, marijuana is a flower of a plant too, but people take it after surgery and for cancer pain.

Flowers can and do affect us in diffrent ways, even cocaine originally comes from a flower and nobody thinks cocaine is just placebo.
Not that this is any comparison, but you get the idea :D
 
You can thank Amethist for starting me off with a special blend. Then, by reading some of her other notes and Googling I found Geranium oil directly on the top of my wrists (as advised) and the side of my neck (because I like the smell) works a treat.
 
OO Nicolette, I hope your not using neat oil straight onto your skin. Dilute it in a base oil or drip it onto a sleeve or collar.
