July 4th Plans

I haven't slept in 3 days and I am bouncing off the wall! So I am curious what everyone is doing for the 4th of July (and if it isn't your independance day, what are you doing this weekend?)
We are hitting up a local amusement park, not thrilled about the crowds but it's good for the little one and then on Sunday doing a big bbq with swimming and a lot of hiding out in the shade.

I will be hosting a dinner party on the 3rd, and am doing the amusement park thing today actually. I have a pool so we will probably be doing a lot of swimming with the kids. I hope your 4th isn't too stressful. I don't think I'm actually going to do anything on the actual 4th. I will be staying home and avoiding the crowds.

The beach or going to DC to watch the fireworks. But I think it now depends on how well my mom is feeling because she has a bad tooth infection. I wouldn't want to go out if my mouth was pus-filled.

Yesterday we went to the amusement park and it was a ton of fun. We hit the back first (the best way for short lines), and even after a few hours the lines were pretty reasonable. The weather wasn't too hot (which scrambles my brain when it is), and it was such a long, exhausting day I actually slept last night! Woo Hoo!! Off to bbq today. I hope everyone's weekend is going well x

<chuckling> I just realized that the way I prefer to spend the 4th (alternate swimming and blowing shit up) is how I really prefer to spend life in general :p.
