I decided quite some time ago that spiders the size of bears ride crocodiles down the city streets (I’m of 2 minds as to whether there are saddles and lassos involved. I think it’s likely). In profusion. As in there are occasionally -not often, but occasionally- snarling slavering venomous traffic jams and battles to the death wiping out cafes and the more photogenic monuments.

It may not be exactly accurate... but it’s the only way to not die of envy when you’re talking a climate like Southern California... without the Californians.

(Californians you knoooooow what I mean. Everyone in Califonia hates everyone else. If everyone else would just go away, or find two brain cells to rub together to get a spark, it would be beautiful.)

The thing about our wildlife is most of the time it really doesn't want to eat us (I don't think we taste too good) because most times if they do take a bite they spit it out (true) or roll around with glazed eyes... drunk. lol
