Rewatching TrueBlood.

I can’t watch the later seasons :wtf: , and the first couple seasons are more like porn attempting to have a plot... but the middle seasons are good! :D

I should have learned by now NOT to watch animal related movies, but like a moth to a flame, I'm drawn right to them. Good thing I just bought more tissues. I just watched The Stray on netflix.

We watched Jack Reacher. Probably wasn't a good idea, hit a little too close to home. But J said he liked it. Hey, @Tornadic Thoughts have you seen A Dog's Purpose? Or Hatchi? I love animal movies but why do they always have to be sad?.... Except Benji. I grew up watching him. ?

We watched Jack Reacher. Probably wasn't a good idea, hit a little too close to home.

The first one was okay-ish for me, I can’t even look at the graphic for the second one that keeps scrolling across AmazonPrime & Netflix :inpain: without my stomach sinking and my chest hurting, so I can’t speak to it :whistling:

I read the first several books of the series until the formula drove me nuts... what was quirky was that -while pretty one dimensional?- there was a lot of commonality with a certain time in my life. I don’t very often find that in reading books. I had 2 sets of clothes, though, instead of 1. I didn’t realise those kinds of behaviours were... odd, maybe not super common, but hardly freakish... until reading the books, though :bag: It makes sense to me, so it should make sense to everyone, right? Aaaaaaand by the level of detail around explaining the motivation, and constant repetition throughout the series, and people’s reactions... maybe not so much. Huh. :cautious::shifty: Well? This explains some of my mother’s diatribes over the years, at least. The older I get the less-wrong my mother becomes in a lot of ways ;)

Watched Nappily Ever After on netflix last night. What a great reminder to just be yourself...and a painful reminder of how much damn time and money I used to spend on tons of different hair products, hair tools, skin products, salon services, and make-up. Dang. We've surely been convinced to buy into so much harmful BS in this existence.

@Friday, do you watch alot of those types of movies? J watches them and then his anxiety and depression start up. I always try to get him to watch something else but it never works. What did he watch yesterday? Lone Survivor. Then wonders why he can't sleep. Duh. He hasn't been able to watch Band of brothers or Saving Private Ryan though. He's watched Blackhawk down because he wanted to see how accurate it was. Damn, there's alot of war flicks.

American Horror Story: Cult. Probably the worst possible thing I could be watching due to the whole thing being triggering but here I am..haha

Been laughing at clips on You Tube from The Late Show with Jimmy Fallon where they play Pictionary, Catch Phrase, and Family Feud.

Grayson Perry ~ Rites of Passage. Very much enjoyed it. He's a quirky so and so /Grayson Perry which always floats my boat but also his films are fairly thought provoking. Good enough.

Also watched The Bodyguard which was great

And Killing Eve which was a proper gem of a show. And am very happy to see there looks like there'll be a second series :D
