We are watching ‘pennyworth’ on prime. The origin story of Batman’s Butler Alfred. London is just as dystopian as the city batman lives in .. with stocks/ pillories and people being hanged in groups and eviscerated as if their was a strange temporal loop. But there are some funny lines. I think that US citizens will get a kick out of ‘would you like a boiled sweet?’ And I am going to use ‘ I will deal with your incompetence later’ when I talk to my pets. Though I might have to use the word ‘incontinence’ instead.

I have been watching "Flint Town," a documentary on Netflix.

Watching local programming right now and being uplifted, but I did catch "Arsenic and Old Lace" on Christmas Day and howled with laughter. I love Cary Grant. So, so funny! ?

Mostly sports over the last week but I have watched from 20 to 30 min of each of the following on Netflix "lost in space" "star wars" "taxi driver". Not sure taxi driver was Netflix though.

We watched the movie ‘Downsizing’ yesterday. I didn’t have high hopes for it - which is wonderful because it gave it opportunity to sneak in there and it’s almost certainly in my list of favourite films now. What a super,

In order to stay consistent with all the dark crap I tend to watch, I have been viewing "The Confession Killer". A true-crime documentary and limited series on Netflix.

A really excellent film. I was surprised to find compassion for Benedict within myself through this portrayal. Being able to find compassion for someone like him must be healing.

Romcom that wasn't chickflick... cough. Leverage. Fun. :sneaky:

But Parker reminds me of someone I knew / lost. Not fun.

Recentering as watch memories, miss out plot? Back to giggles.
