New Here
Greeting, guys.
I know it's a bit late, but thought I would say what a pleasure it is to actually find a site like this.
Just a little about me: I have been through what seems like a million different therapies and medications. Although my life seems outstandingly better that what it was just a few years ago, I still have slight remnants of paranoia to deal with, so please bear with me.
I am not here to try to sell you anything or tell you what you should do. The best I can offer is what therapies I have tried, what did or did not work for me, and if nothing else tell you about my misadventures in hope it can serve as a warning to others.
I know some may laugh at my service, which was in the Coast Guard during the Iraq war of the 90's and then during the second war in the middle east during the 2000's. (Yes, I know we're just 'puddle pirates' ha ha.
Anyway, one of my main jobs during the second war was to board and inspect foriegn ships for everything from safety and environmental issues to possible acts of terrorism.
After my incident (guess I don't really want to disclose all of it right now) I changed jobs and moved a number of times all over the country . I found that the really stressful jobs were the worst. A desk job with occasional walks out to talk with people worked out the best for me so far.
Ok, now that I've written a novel I will leave you in peace for a little bit.
