Let's Be Workout Freaks Together

I'm trying to stick to the at least one hour each day schedule, I did it on Tuesday and Wednesday. Today well.....didn't quite make it. Got sucked into some flashbacks/emotions and needed to take a nap in my free time today instead of working out. Boo, but I will make up for it tomorrow!

Sooo, not thursday but friday was my first day with workout again and it went great! I watched two lectures on General Relativity by Leonard Susskind while I was at it and worked for a total of 2h without even noticing. Whoever said science is boring.

And today, instead of doing culturally sanctioned para-religious stuff I'll work out some more. Yeah! :D

Welcome, Ayesha! *hands out a club t-shirt* That looks ultra cool on you :D

My christmas workout was wonderful. I listened to a 2h lecture about General Relativity while on the mat and totally forgot time, lol. Nice little workout the day after, but then, nothing; I'm feeling depressed as hell and can't even be arsed to leave bed -.- Maybe tomorrow will be better. Fingers crossed.

Hey... I just did my 30 minutes and I got to say, I did better than I thought I'd do. Did my 30 minutes, though was a bit cautious for the first 10, up to a 5 minute power walking... did a sustained 10 at a jog... then ramped it for 5 with a 5 minute cool down. My heart rate dropped (like it should after the first 5 minutes of the powerwalk, again at the jog, and again at the ramping)... so I've still got an athletic heart. Lungs, well that may be another matter... but I did pilates breathing through the whole thing and it was no significant problem at all. Wow.

I did it in my sandals though... if I didn't need my lift/foot orthotic I'd have done it barefoot.

@Ayesha: Your plan sounds good. Quite ambitious.

@Albatross: Go you! Don't let that seduce you to cut yourself too much slack, though :D I know I always fall into the 'Oh, my progress is still okay so I can do less'-trap o.o

@Loloma: Your knee will certainly enjoy a little time off.

I actually realized my workout plan for yesterday. Did a full 1.5 hours, too. Today I did a bit less and started with 10min of rather slow biking and then a sprint until my legs felt like they were about to turn black and fall off.

I didn't to any real weight stuff. I feel like I'm too bad at tolerating muscle pain to get anywhere with this. It's frustrating. Stretching pain doesn't bother me at all, but muscles? Forget it.
