Little Laurie

It would appear my DID is causing me issues with keeping Little Laurie under control. I appear to have dissociated several times and been chatting with various members in my five year old state a few times this last few days.

I sincerely apologise if little Laurie upsets anyone he is quite simply a five year old who was abused, mainly at night and he used to hide under the bed to escape his abusers. All he wants is a cuddle from his daddy, and some warm milk.

I have managed to keep him happy for several years now but appear to have lost control of him due to my recent anniversaries and change in medication.

I again apologise if he upsets anyone, I will obviously be speaking with my psychology team asap tomorrow. In the mean time if I do dissociate please jut give me a hug and some warm milk.

Just to update members regarding my dissociative episodes of late.

I have now been seen by the spine specialist and am now on 3000 mills of my pain meds as well as all my other medications for psychiatry. I have had investigations done on my spine now and have ten fractures of varying severity, 7 from the original military incident. The doctors and surgeons are advising me to have rods inserted in my spine but i am extremely reluctant to have this surgery done as i have mates who have had it.

The reason (according to the doctors) I keep dissociating back to little Laurie is down to the amount of meds I am now on and a conflict between the two, they are satified my meds are correct but are monitoring me closley,

I thank any member who has kept little laurie safe these last few days and hope this situation will rectify itself with the adjustments in my medication regime.

Further update just to keep concerned members in the loop.

I am now partially paralysed down my right arm and leg and now in my left foot, i am really hoping this does not last as long as last time, I am under the physiotherapist each few days and the treatment is helping in a limited capacity.

Please dont feel pity for me though as i am doing as well as can be expected, I knew this day was coming one day all the time.

That sounds awful about your spine.. Hope you heal well.

I personally cannot believe you posted about little Laurie asking for warm milk. That's quite a.. Step.. I hope you are seeking help... Can't imagine a grown man feeling like a tiny boy under a bed..
I have regressed in past also but never like that. Hope you are safe now.
