Little Moments

Sitting here watching a 40lb German Shepherd puppy play fight with a 6lb cat over an empty mountain dew box I noticed how much the little moment mean to me.

What are the little moments in your life that bring a smile to your face?

Walking in the countryside with my Husband, turning a corner and seeing a stunning vista before us that takes our breath away. You just can't buy it!

An overlook. like walking threw the woods and you come out on a cleared cliff looking out over a valley. That is a vista.

My little moment of the day is coming on here and reading words of support from friends I've never seen.

Being able to eat breakfast with coffee without nausea.

Sometimes I sit in my bird room with my doves and I close my eyes and if I can make myself very calm, my little dove will also sit calmly with me and close her eyes. Since she is a nervous bird, it is quite an accomplishment for me to get her to relax and take a little nap with me.

You have a bird room atl22? Wow! That's amazing, wish I had one, and doves too!! A neighbour has a dove cote in his garden and I often see the pure white doves flying around or sitting on the telephone wires; they look like little angels! Something else that makes me smile! :)

Little moment of the day. Walking the 4 month old puppy out by the grass field for her second time off leash when all the sudden she realizes she doesn't have anything pulling on her. She bolted forward so fast that she actually tumbled forward head over rump. The look of innocence on her face after pulling that one off has managed to keep me smiling for several hours.
