hello dave. welcome to the forum. i am just a patient who was "graduating" to therapy maintenance around the turn of the millennium when the ptsd dx was just coming into vogue. i carried my ptsd into the army with me, but i started consistent psychotherapy treatment during my tour of duty with the u.s. army in 1974 when combat ptsd was still being called, "shell shock." what a long, strange trip it's been. i did a few of the va ptsd workshops, but the vast majority of my psychotherapy was the piecemeal availabilities of the late 20th century.
seems to me that ptsd therapists and treatments have proliferated faster than virtual reality apps here in the 21st century. i wonder if the field is growing too far,, too fast. it kinda reminds me of the dot.com boom of the 90's.
just wondering while i remind myself to leave the experting to the experts. i just a patient.
welcome aboard.
