Have been on Weight training for a while. I wouldn’t say I enjoy it all the time but I look strong and my dominant part needs this. Unfortunately taking the bus and walking to the Gym is a challenge..
 
I've still been exercising for a half hour every weekday since the last time I checked in here. I also go for walks. I signed up for a health plan next year that covers a gym membership too, so that should be interesting. The gym is moving in right down the block from me, so I will be able to go there often. I am looking forward to it.
 
I have been getting out and walking to appointments, to the dollar store etc., and it is a long walk for someone with hip pain like I have. I also struggle with CFS/ME and Fibromyalgia, so I am very proud of myself for getting out there in the cold, pushing thru the pain, and getting some needed exercise.

I sit up in the balcony at church, so on Sundays I get to go up and down the stairs a bunch of times. I don't do that during the week (though I do exercise) so I thought I would mention it, because my knees got a really good work-out today!
 
I rode my new bike to the grocery and back. It is only a quarter mile from here to there, so I rode a half mile or so. That may not seem like much, especially on a bike, but I have not had a bike in over 20 years, just got this one for Christmas! I'm still a bit unsteady on it, still can only ride it at the lowest gear, but hey! I did something with it, that is what counts!

that's great:) i love hearing about people getting back on a bike. it gives such a sense of freedom. good for you:)
