Rested Sat, Sunday went for morning and arvo walks of 3.8km each.

Monday I did morning 4.2km, evening 4.8km........have shaved 25min off my time, I can now do a power walk of 4.8km in 40-50min with 11kg bub on my back.

Walked 3km today, in sandals cos I am going shopping with my sis.....feet now hate me big time.
 
Day 3. Triometrics. P90X3.

Mostly consists of one-legged squats while positioning the arms and other leg in different positions. Plus some two-legged squats that evolve into jumps. Very tough. My thighs were already sore. 1/2 way through, I just shook my head. Sore is good. Injured is bad. I'm gonna feel this burn tomorrow. I hope to be able to do a full workout by 30 days,... but, I'll be happy just to stick with it. It could take me 180 days to be able to do these workouts, not gonna sweat it.

Incidentally, my lower abs are sore, and we haven't even focused on abs yet. Everything engages the core.
 
Another 4 miles today. I'm so proud of myself for keeping up with this so far! I'm pretty motivated. The cold did get to me today though. I had on so many extra layers, and usually after a few laps I start shedding clothing. Well, not today as it was so frigid outside. My hip started bothering me and I'm not sure if its the cold? My doc told me I am slightly bowlegged so it puts strain on my hips and knees. The goal is to be able to run again, but if its too much for my body to handle, then I'll just stick with walking. I know I've got a lot more strengthening to do first though. It just occurred to me that my running (short sprint) from yesterday may be what has irritated my hip. Yeah, my muscles are quite weak unfortunately!
 
Today was P90X3 MMX plus 15 minutes of Insanity Abs. I haven't done the Insanity Abs workout and I discovered it's quite a bit different than the P90X ab workout. I missed my run today though - this is the time of year I most enjoy running although the temps reached close to -26c - no snow though - just pure cold. Tomorrow is my day for a 10k - supposed to be sunny too but much, much colder.
