Saturday
50 minutes Tai Chi

50 minutes walking
Mindful Tai Chi movement - a fair bit - whilst waiting in line - walking down the street - hell I was practicing run in slow motion like the bionic woman and my sister was getting annoyed at me but a guy joined in as we (in slow motion) raced across the road crossing. Bringing a smile to a few other people's faces - a great thing to do each day!

Tuesday was a rest day.

Wednesday I grabbed ice time with the women's league. Once you have done the introductions you are allowed to come for part of the their warm ups until you actually join the team. Because of my schedule I won't join the team just yet so this works really well for me.

Thursday, 5 k run with Homer
Friday, 10k run
Saturday - 4 k hike through the park with Homer and later I will do some balance work.

Hope everyone is well. I really enjoy reading what people are doing for themselves physically. Physical work has been more helpful to my PTSD than any conventional 'talk-therapy' so I am really grateful for this thread.

29k run Sunday in the first real snow we have had here. It was nice - I was seeing runners all over which is really odd since most runners here tuck in when the cold weather hits.

Monday is a shorter run - probably 15k just to keep limber. Then tonight an epsom salts bath and a good book.

I was thinking the talk therapy road is not going to be in the cards for me - missing the 'idea' of that kind of relationship with a therapist more than the reality of it actually - and then I remember I am still able bodied and can engage in the best and most effective therapy I have ever found for my symptoms , I have 'a' Homer! and soon I will have Homer plus my own four-legged pal - no better therapy than that for me!

Life is good. Run, sleep, repeat.
