45 minutes cardio. My therapist says I bought the treadmill so I don't have to leave the house to go to the gym, which is just another way of isolating. He thinks I should still go to the gym and get out of the house. I told him I go to work and he says that doesn't count. I think it does, so we are at an impasse.

@Ghostybear73 : I think it's a start. ...don't let yourself be pushed by your therapist. I can understand his point of view but I also know your perspective. I never joined a group because I want to do sports when I have time and feel like it...and therapist says "Isolating"...:meh: Going to work is being around people, so take it at your own pace. ...and I don't like gyms - it's like showing off and being seen or not...:lurking::ninja:

45 run in the park
30 min Yoga Nidra (dozed off several times...)

Wow, I am a week behind - it's been a crazy week with work but I have some calm for the next little while so I am a happy camper.

Tuesday last week I ran about my best time - a 32km run which was one of those runs where it was harder to stop so I just kept running.
Wednesday was Krav Maga. Not too much more Krav - I got a few gift certificates to try it out which was great but I find it really expensive here where I live - and now since hockey, I am finding I am enjoying the newness of hockey.

Thursday was a forced rest day lol - I was stuck in meetings the entire day and night.

Friday I did a much needed run with Homer - we did about 5kms and he was still wanting to run but I knew it was probably because he hadn't run with me for a few days so I was careful not to overdo it.

Saturday and Sunday were short hikes with Homer - he tried to run into the lake with me on the other end of the leash and I barely stayed standing - he outweighs me by a few kgs lol. I had to sit down to stop him from pulling me into the water - he was very excited as the route I took him, he thought he was going swimming.

Monday was a rest day.

Tuesday was warmer and I did a 28k run and just got home.

Hope everyone is well.

@Ghostybear73 I like what @Anrish said. I have had my treadmill for a long, long time - it got me through some really bad times with PTSD - I was active when I was younger but I credit my treadmill for getting me to a point where I could actually face running a run with other people let alone ultimately getting into marathon running.

The treadmill was always there, 24/7 and I could get on it and take my time and feel like I was doing something for myself. It was my best friend and a bridge from my symptoms into a life where I discovered options.

I think going to work is a huge thing - I see what your therapist is saying - these are just other ways to look at it that aren't aligned with your therapists' viewpoint.

You are doing really well.
