If you are in America, they are not allowed to turn you away if you can't pay. Generic meds should not be too much. Some companies send free meds for some people, you can try asking. Or look for commnunity services to help you. The state l am in is very proactive, many low-fee income based clinics. But the other state l was in wasn't so great. Good luck, check state website, check mental health resources for your area, look for free clinics, and even companies pay people to try new meds for depression, newspaper has ads, etc. Please don't give up, you maybe on them for three months and you may feel better. Sometimes dosage or pill name may be changed if not working for you, this happens.
