Relationship May Have Made Things Worst

Just don't want to make a friend worse
Then she probably needs more friends like you, based on this.

And fair call if she is experiencing, "Flashbacks, trouble sleeping needing alcohol to relax, thinking every whisper is about her. Etc."

Childhood trauma combined with those symptoms, well... it does start to lean towards the alcohol is masking probably more than you're aware, maybe, maybe not... only she knows that obviously.

Honestly, you can only do as much as you can, and based on your response to my questions, she is doing herself a possible injustice by removing friends like you. Saying that... she may also not like having lost you as a friend, but as you said, "special friend," then I assume that means sex... which really if she no longer wants you in her life, when sex friends break-up, complete no contact is usually the best for all concerned.

I would also agree that some comments above, responses, should not be so harsh where they belittle vs asking questions to get answers.

Yes the information was sketchy at best so I understand the first response but when you used the word stalkerish it kind of passed me off. And the song let it go. But on hindsight I should have been more thorough. And we were close but no sex. That's another thing every touch was braced. We hugged and I kissed her on the cheek and she almost jumped out of her skin.

And I was trying to respect her boundaries but I went to some forums and some would say minimal contact to let her know you care and are thinking about her and others would say cut contact. Guess I got confused
