Dearest Froggie, Sometimes the meaning of our life's experiences doesn't show up for a while. You'll recognize when the time is right.

There is a little book about Padre Pio, a new saint from Italy. I think the title is Practicing the Presence of God. I found that a page or two was enough for me to have something spiritually good to chew on.

Dear One, I am praying for you especially that any metastases (sp?) will die out as a result of the chemo.

Keeping you near in my heart,
Mercy

Ribbit
(Froggie,)
Ribbit ribbit-ribbit, ribbit-ribbit-ribbit, ribbit.
(I am sending healing prayers your way often.)
Ribbit ribbit, ribbit-ribbit, ribbit ribbit, ribbit-ribbit-ribbit, ribbit.
(I think you are very brave and courageous.)
Ribbit ribbit-ribbit-ribbit, ribbit-ribbit, ribbit-ribbit.
(We're riding this out with you and holding your hand.)

;)

Praying for you ((((((Froggie)))))). Just so you don't get surprised, chemo can make some people forgetful and absentminded. This is not a permanent state, but they even call it chemo brain. That's how common it is regardless of PTSD. Even if you 'forget' God, He never forgets you. Even if you feel lost, God knows where you are and is right there with you.
XOXOXO

Not been here for a little while, but when I do I seek out this thread to see how you are doing.

Now I see that there has been no post for a couple of weeks and it has slipped down the ratings so I have posted to let you know that I also follow your battle and wish the best for you.

Now in true Froggie style you will leap to the top again.

Ooooh, I was about to look for this thread, too! Thanks for putting it into my alerts, Jestadud, that made things verrry easy :)

I hope you're doing okay, Froggie! Nausea... ugh, I feel you. But think of all those tiny puking cancer cells :D They'll slowly wither and diiiiiie, and you'll dance on their tiny graves.

Thank you so much my friends, I was pretty sick from the last round and didn't come here often. So it was joy and tears of gratitude to have all your comforting words and pics.

The day after chemo, my hands are shaky and I have a rough time writing. So I will come back tomorrow with a steadier hand to write.
