Me And My Cancer Adventure

Steve has some really good words of advice. Having everything planned as best as possible and making your wishes known can be a huge relief. I am meeting with an attorney this week to draw up the necessary papers, so that I don't have to worry about what will or will not be done.

I understand the fear, as I am not afraid of dying, but more afraid of how I will die. I don't want to hurt anyone or be a burden; and I too am most afraid of how the PTSD will affect me through treatment and ultimately my own death.

Set the plans in place that you feel you need to and then go about the business of living each day to its fullest.

Deb

Froggie,

I've experienced several deaths recently. What I've seen tells me this. Death accentuates what you are not what you are not. Frustrated spiteful people become more frustrated and spiteful. Good hearted people are greatful and loving to those who are there for them at their death.

You have nothing to worry about. You are among the good hearted.

Besides, that's a long way away for you.

Froggie I so wish I could be there for you the way I can be for Deb. I am so sorry to hear of your struggles. I see Deb planning and preparing and how hard it is, but also how it really does seem to lift her burden a bit. I hope you find that to be true as well.

As always, sending my love, hope, best wishes, and prayers to both you and Deb.

If you keep worrying about your future you are mourning away the present and right know you are enjoying a good quality of life so there is no reason why this should not continue.

It does bring it home when we see others suffering, but we all have our own unique journey to follow. As in any illness it can bring out the best and the worst in all of us which does not make us good or bad people, just human.

Concentrate on planning your Christmas; it will be a good one,

Steve

Thank you for your wisedom Steve, I feel better today. I spent time on the phone with a friend who is out of region and she helped me through this. I was still tired from my blocage experience and this brought back some eurk feelings which played into my PTSD. Domino reaction, too much to handle in one day sort of thing.

Thanks so much for being there.

Froggie
