Medication To Aid Sleeping/no Dreams?

My psychologist put me on Clonidine (lowest whole dose) to help with sleep and nightmares in general, while it helps a little.. So far I've had less "remembered" dreams, especially ones that would induce extreme stress and cause me to wake up, but I'd like to know of other medications people have successfully used.

With me, I have no problem getting to sleep. And I usually don't have an issue staying asleep, or at least going back to sleep.. But I have an issue with waking up, but I'm pretty sure that is my depression/anxiety/something another. Not my medications.

I take Prazosin for nightmares. It is non addictive. An alpha blocker. It doesn't lose effectiveness over time. It is an alpha-blocker and was originally used as a blood pressure medication. Most people respond to low doses. It might be worth asking your doctor about.

I'm on Prazosin as well. Now that my dosage has been increased I find that it helps quite a lot. Sleep and I are still not friends though. I wish we could find a way to reconcile, but alas, it seems it is not meant to be.
