Meeting In London Uk

So that would be Birmingham??? Or are we talking london or somewhere else? I get a bit lost with it... Who shall organise it then ?

I am happy to organise. We could do one meeting in London a year and say one in Birmingham and possible one somewhere else. We csn meet at train stations if it is easier for everyone to get to the meeting by train like myself.

As it turns out London will not only be cheaper for me to get to but I can catch numerous different trains as opposed to Birmingham. If anyone wants to suggest another venue I was thinking it qould be easier to meet on a Saturday as opposed to a week day. Ideas please peoples :)

@IrisL if it is to be London I would be arriving at Paddington, If Birmingham I would arrive at New Street Station. I am limited to only one train each way per day in Birmingham but can catch several throughout the day to London.

I guess it all depends on the consensus of opinion at to where we meet the first time. The earliest date I could do would be Saturday the 21st February. How does this date fit with others ??

Birmingham depends because of circumstances :/ and nothing sure around me ...

Unsure if I will be able to make London. Hubby is doing a lot of travelling, he only arrived home 3 hours ago from Saudi Arabia after being away since last Friday. Weekends are rest and catch up times for now.

@Santa_Laurie well done on taking up the reins and organising this. Here is a list of things to consider from my past organising meet ups.

• Members PM you although keep the thread updated with where and when.
• As organiser, ask for mobile phone numbers and give participants your number.
• Know in advance which cafe you are going to and phone them in advance and see if you can reserve a table. Ensure everyone knows where they are going.
• Participants will be arriving at different stations if the meeting is in London. If meeting in Birmingham most will arrive at New Street, the shops/cafes are accessed directly from the station itself. Last time we went to Cafe Rouge and they were very accommodating.
• Be prepared for last minute cancellations - we all know we have those PTSD days
• HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!

Take photos and if everyone is agreeable, put them on the existing thread, meeting with members off forum.

Well then you UK lot, Looks like Laurie is organizing, As KP has indicated above please PM me and I will reply as suggested. HMM! didn't know I was letting myself in for this much but HEY! lets meet....

Current date on the table is 21st February. Either Birmingham or London.

I can give you guys my service, because I'm living in London - so we can do it to I can pick up people on xyz station and get with the group to the place what we will figure it out... Just let me know when you will arrive and we can work around that... So if somebody needs that - I know sometimes is difficult to get to another place - I'm happy to do it and maybe can be funny ^.^
