I have been having serious memory loss. My wife and I were talking about overcoming my fears. One of them have been parallel parking. My wife has been teaching me and I now have it mastered on our street. I asked her to go into the city so I can try on a busy street. She told me that I had been doing it for two months before I even started to park on our own street.

I have no memory of this. There are other incidents like this. It is like I live for a month then erase everything and move onto the next month.

It sounds like you need to get this checked out if you have not already done so. There are many and varied causes of memory loss, some physical some psychological. Either way it needs investigation.

On the other hand, if it has already been checked and you are happy that there is no reason other than your PTSD then you perhaps need to look at strategies for improving your memory. Some people find recording fine detail in a diary helpful. Others might have notes around the house. A modern strategy is to take many photos on your phone, so that they have a date and time record.

I hope that you are able to find something that helps you.

I would be getting that checked. Whilst PTSD comes with memory issues, from mild to severe, I'm not sure about this one... this sounds vastly different from anything I've heard before, being literally not remembering two months worth of prior parking practice.
