I am currently in the process of CBT for PTSD. My process started Dec 2011 and progressing painfully well, which seems odd to say. I do have to remind myself that the event took place long ago and I have 'contained/boxed' it off so well, that it will take time and persistence to understand, readjust my beliefs, and to start to live my life beyond a day to day existence.
I can say, that I am very grateful to my Therapist for driving me forward, calling bull when he sees it, and for pointing out my own success when I just can't see them.
