Or this:

Psychogenic (non-epileptic) seizures are attacks that look like epileptic seizures, but are not caused by abnormal electrical discharges. They are stress-related or “emotional.” They are sometimes called pseudoseizures, but “psychogenic non-epileptic seizures” (PNES) is now the preferred term.

Its an old, by most counts, name now a nickname and by most sites Ive found, was stopped being used because "pseudo" generally means fake, like pseudoname. By defintion:

pseudo

[soo-doh]

adjective
1.
not actually but having the appearance of;pretended; false or spurious; sham.

http://www.dictionary.com/browse/pseudo

Thus why I was orginally mistaken, and I did advise I was mistaken and missunderstood the post, as the only term advised to me as well as the only one on both my medical records and mental health records, is Psychogenic (non-epileptic) seizures.

Back on topic, @Stickler, can you advise how @Mr Laurie is or if he is doing better?
