She will bring you many, many hours of joy & laughter, enjoy every moment even the broken nights!

Congratulations Nie!!! Just say goodbye to sleep for a few months LOL. Do what I did with my oldest daughter try to sleep when she does. These first few days are magical you stare into those beautiful innocent eyes and everything else seems not quite as bad.

And don't forget a new baby more or less gives you a license to shop! For the first 3 months of my daughters life my wife came home every day with another outfit or new toy.

Again Congrats on the little bundle of joy!!

The first week of being a mom has been very good! I love to just hold her and look at her. She is so beautiful. Emotionally I am doing well for the most part. I only had two crying times this week. I don't think that is too bad. I think this is the best thing I have ever done in my life :)

nie...Glad that things are going well, and that your crying jags have been limited to only 2........That is good. Remember, right now you are a mess of raging hormones, so be easy on yourself......Hang onto that new baby, and spoil her with lots of love and affection.......

Congratulations :) Take lots of pictures! I thought I'd remember better than I have. (My daughters are 11 and 9, respectively). Take a deep whiff of that new baby smell too! They smell so good!

She is doing pretty well. Most nights she only gets up twice. Last night was an exception :), but she and I are learning how to work together. It is amazing how much love one can have for something so little. I love just holding her and watching the fun faces she makes. She is amazing!
