Any fish in either stream? Can't think of anything cooler than grabbing a fly rod walking down behind your house and dropping a midge in a stream like those.

Mate, apparently there are some deep holes further up and down the creek that have some big old Barramundi in them. The beach about 4 km away also has some nice spots to fish, just have to get of my lazy arse and do so.

Yep Sarg...see guys in waders often and there are posted limits for Bass & Perch I believe, also some Trout. The water is perfect for walking in no problem, if it is not after storm runoff. Coincidentally grandpa passed on his rod to my boy recently and the kid asked me last weekend after school if we could go out back and learn to fish. Of course, that was magic time for Dad & Son, making memories. Saw about 20 deer cross the part of the river in the pic once. Always white tail deer, red fox, beaver, some coon & wild turkey.

Oh! Drooooool! How cool. Having that much wildlife on your property. Altho' my Dad and I didn't get to fish together too much, my grand dad and I fished a lot together. Man could catch a bass in a bucket. And you're right, quality time.

Jimmy, had to look up the name of the fish and it looks like a fighter, bet it would be a bunch of fun on one of those big saltwater fly fishing rigs.

Damn, now I green with envy, gonna have to install a water feature in my back yard......
