I'm glad you are feeling better Gizmo. I think yo-yo sums up PTSD well.

It can seem like just when you feel you're making progress we end up on the floor again.

But you are such an inspiration and source of good advice Gizmo that you have lots to write in a positive journey. You do really well, so I hope you will go easy on yourself and give yourself a warm hug on the bad days.
 
Well the yo yo is up. I feel good today. I have a good attitude. I have things I have to do today. The feelings pass. I need to get a handle on this. The bad feelings pass away. I am having a hard time finding the source of the bad feelings. It is like my anxiety, it is free floating.

I am done with the chores and am waiting for the water to heat up so I can take a shower. I got a wonderul call from my daughter yesterday. I need to go out for a coffee with her again. She will be busy so she will have to squeeze me in.

Today is a better day. I am so grateful. I just love the good and balanced days. I just need to start finding the source of the bad feelings so I can deal with them. Mabe therapy will help me with this. I sure hope so.
 
Dear Gizmo, sometimes it's taken me months to figure out the trigger. Try not to 'feed' the feelings, as others have said above you are a wonderful, dear, sweet person. If you can put doubt and self-doubt out of your mind, go an hour at a time (or less) if you have to. Things will be ok. Also, the care-giving and worries for your husband are exhausting, and more often than not I expect your time is not your own. And you can't just leave or make plans for stress-relief as you want to or could really use. Exhaustion alone can really tip the stress cup, as does pain and illness and worry. Just be Super-kind to yourself (at least as kind as you have been to me and everyone here. :inlove:)
