Dear Gizmo, sometimes it's taken me months to figure out the trigger. Try not to 'feed' the feelings, as others have said above you are a wonderful, dear, sweet person. If you can put doubt and self-doubt out of your mind, go an hour at a time (or less) if you have to. Things will be ok. Also, the care-giving and worries for your husband are exhausting, and more often than not I expect your time is not your own. And you can't just leave or make plans for stress-relief as you want to or could really use. Exhaustion alone can really tip the stress cup, as does pain and illness and worry. Just be Super-kind to yourself (at least as kind as you have been to me and everyone here. :inlove:)
