My T Passed Away! Omg

He was my best friend too...been seeing him over 6 years weekly/biweekly/monthly....and hundreds of emails.....he only charged me for two sessions a year...my insurance...
i'm shattered...his funeral was yesterday...he was only 44!

I am so very sorry for your loss! My psychiatrist of several years passed away at 42 so I understand the tremendous loss this brings. I still remember things he taught/told me and the impact he had on me will last a lifetime. Remember all the good he taught you. I know it helped me.

We get very attached to our therapists, as we tell them our inner most thoughts, sometimes they are the only people that know things about us. Our soul is hurt and they will try and help to heal it. If you are lucky enough to find a wonderful one which I have always had, they become part of you and your healing.
