My T Was A No Show For Second Emdr

Talking to your doctor is a good idea, and you can write the T a letter as well.

At the end of the day, it may be the case that this therapist just has too many health things going on to be there for you like they want to be. Canceling 50 percent of the time is horrible, and it seems like the therapist knows it.

I'd suggest asking the doc and the therapist for suggestions on options to have more reliable support.

Sounds like you have a good read on what will and will not work for you personally:tup:, Justmehere's advice about a letter may be more appropriate (allow you to feel in better control) than a call if I understand your comments, though perhaps posting your disappointment was cathartic in itself. PDocs and PCPs both may have ideas for you on other therapists. I am hopeful you'll find the support you need for healing.
