Myptsd Grows With Success

I thought it appropriate to share a little insight to what this community has done, and how vastly read MyPTSD is per annum:

• MyPTSD is viewed by in excess of 1.5 million unique visitors per annum, and
• MyPTSD is visited in total by approximately 2.1 million visitors per annum.

This is reflective of every members contribution to this community. So well done to every member and guest who contribute to make MyPTSD what it is today.

Everyone who contributes takes credit for this. Seriously, well done and thank you for continuing to support and build MyPTSD into the wealth of knowledge and peer to peer support it has become today.

I can't tell you how thankful I am to be able to talk to people online. PTSD is hard enough without being utterly alone in what is happening. It is wonderful. Wish I could contribute now but poor as could be. Maybe later. Thank you!!!!

That is my thinking also... well said. This is a community effort, not me, not staff... one person alone remains one person alone. When others join, we become a collective, and as such have achieved these results for PTSD.

I think it is an amazing way of getting information out there about not only PTSD but Mental Health, as I don't think I have meet anyone on this forum that only has PTSD. Most I have meet have Anixety, Depression, Paranoia, Eating Disorders, Self Harm, Personality Disorders etc etc. It is a very long hard road that we all travel down with many bumps and pot holes along the way, some which we fall into for days, weeks and months.

It is often a very long time before most get told they have PTSD. Most people I think get told a number of different Mental Health Labels before getting told they have PTSD as a lot of different Mental Health Symptoms over lap PTSD. The more information we can get out there the better as with anything Knowledge is power.
