Day 5: Yankee Doodle (decking out in red, white, and blue today) for the election.

Day 6: It took me a while today... I ended up with a memory (7th grade maybe) of Dr. Demento... and learning all the lyrics to "Shaving Cream".

Day 7: Not feeling particularly up to doing this today... which is precisely why I made it a 30 day challenge. I'm hoping to develop some emotional self regulation and get some confidence with my ability to turn a rough start into something that will not govern my day.

I sort of changed the rule. Frankly I got bored quickly singing the same song for 30 days. Since it was a self imposed goal I set for myself, I changed the rule... and have been reconnecting to some of the songs I remember we played in our home and I memorized in my youth (I loved song lyrics). If I can still do it for 30 days, I will consider the goal completed. The extra added bonus is that I may reconnect some of the warmer, better memories as well.

Day 8: Tiny Tim used to vacation here... a nurse I used to work with partied with him. He was quite a nice guy. So... "Tiptoe Through the Tulips" is my silly song today.
