Why does a thing from one source bother me but from another source not? I originally thought it might be related to the overall relationships with the individuals in the following examples but it flip flops so much I don’t think it does.
Examples:
Humming
If C does it I feel instant rage
If M does it I feel nothing
Phone Playing Loud
If C does it I feel nothing
If M does it I feel instant rage
Background Noise
Talking from the TV in the very next room- soothing
Music from the next door neighbors- rage
Chewing
If M or C do it- depends, with M it’s always hatred unless I can drown it out with my own, if it’s C it varies day to day.
If anyone else does it- feel absolutely nothing
I know there’s other examples but I can’t think of them right now. But when I say rage, I do mean full on instantaneous, all I can think about, needing to scream and throw things, rage that I’m desperate to drown out.
