A great man. Will be a sad loss to the world.

As we're liberated from our own fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others.

Nelson Mandala, a fearless man of integrity and peace.

I was marveling how it seemed the news of an actor dying, though tragic, got out faster through facebook then Mr. Mandela's passing. I did offer my condolences on that site. RIP Mr. Mandela. We are forever at a lost without you.

I was in South Africa during the 80s and early 90s. I experienced the ANC targeting soft targets like railway stations. I was there when Nelson Mandela was released.

He was a great man to know that forgiveness was the way forward. South Africa, would not be the place it is now without him. I only hope that his legacy will continue.

It is a deeply sad day here in South Africa today. May his soul rest in peace now, it was a long walk to Freedom.

How I wish that Mandela's stature as a profound leader and truly dignified human being would've gained him much wider influence when he spoke out, as he often did right until he died, about other injustices, aggressions and abuses of power around the world. RIP.
