nursenurse, the sad fact is, I am alone. I do not have access to counseling, or therapy. Or medication. There just isn't any resources available here, or around here. I have to deal with this on my own. Being a combat veteran, really does isolate one from the rest of the community.

Sorry, but what the f*ck??? In this day and age. So sad, too bad??? You fight for your country, and........ nothing. It's not like you live on some little island in the middle of no where with just a soccer ball for a friend. They don't offer to send you somewhere, or at least subsidize it? I guess I should not be surprised. Keep up here, as Pencil said, it should help. You aren't alone. Maybe check out the book section, I'm thinking there might be some suggestions for self help books. I think you have to be a mighty strong guy, and a mighty humble one, to admit you have a problem, and to seek help. At least here, you are among friends.
