Hi, I just joined and wanted to introduce myself. I'm not sure how good I will be at talking here right now. I thought I should get this first post done right away before I got too scared about writing. I was sexually abused as a child and raped as an adult. I have spent a lot of time trying to ignore all of it, but it hasn't worked very well. So now I am going to at least try to start dealing with it. Hopefully I will be able to talk a little more after I've been here a little while.

Welcome, nice one, well done. I'm a newbie of only a couple of days so can't talk much about how it is here, but I do like the clear boundaries, rules, help videos and the like. Am finding other peoples stories very inspiring and it's great to not feel so isolated. There's a lot of experience. I have felt genuinely welcomed and supported already. I do hope you find help here.

Your first post is always the hardest- and you've done that!

Just take your time, and post more as and when you feel ready
