Hello everyone...:)
I am new here, but not new to PTSD...I live with my hubby who has been diagnoised with PTSD for about 2 1/2 years ago now...He served in the Army...I joined this forum to chat with others who lives with someone with this disorder and to find out how they cope each and everyday...Praying that I can learn from others, find support and in return give back to others too.:)

Come down to the supporters section where you will find a lot of useful and supportive threads. It is not easy being a supporter for anyone with PTSD, but it can get easier for both of you, if you can get the help you both need.

Is he in therapy and have you got some kind of support for yourself. You may find it helps to have your own support away from him, just so you can let loose to someone face to face, when it all gets too much for you.

Take good care of yourself through all of this, it is important.

Pottershand Thanks for the welcome. Yes, I have finally realized that I need help or support because when my hubby hurts I hurt too and I don't think that he realizes that.

welcome to the forum OneHumbleHeart, what a great name. Amethist is right, you will have much great support and information in the section for the supporters/carers. I'm a sufferer and really do appreciate and am full of gratitude for people like you. You may suggest your husband to come to the forum so that he won't feel like an extraterrestial stuck with ptsd.
