Hi everyone am newbie here, found this site while I browse about PTSD. I am currently dating someone with PTSD so I though join this site will be a good way to educate myself with PTSD as am not familiar with it before at all so any help and info will be welcome and of course friendship too always welcome. ^^

I would like to add thank you for taking the time to get more information on what is PTSD and what it can do to a person. I'm a sufferer, but also know that it can be a very difficult situation for those close to us.

@froggie, I have to apology for my delayed reply to you also Froggie, I just read ur msg- I am new to the site and still learn how to use it. Merci beacoup for welcoming me to the forum. Oh you like my avatar name? moi aussi hahah but oh my french is not so good as it should tho , I mean I learn it for 3 years but then Je n'ai pas beacoup la change de le practiquer so I just brag what I still can remember :giggle: so I guess I wish I am bilingue haaaa.
Anyway I do think I have to get more and more info about PTSD and kearn it , when it happened to someone you love and care so much I think you would too and I see people on this site are helping each other , supported each other and friendly and thats comforting makes me think am on the right site. I didnt know theres a site like PTSD forum before and I found it when I was googling and I was thinking maybe I have to go to Y answer for it :oops: :) Again , thank youuuu

I hope you find all the information you need to support your loved one. There is lots and lots of information available, research based as well as personal experiences. You are doing a great thing by learning as much as you can instead of just thinking that it is your partner's issue and responsibility. Great job in being a supportive partner!
