Night Terrors Advice

TV/screen time isn't helpful with sleep habits, but I try to end my day with only "nice things," too. (My boyfriend laughs that I watch things like Steven Universe or kids programs because they stay relatively upbeat). Gentle programs, relaxing music, relaxing tea. It helps. Melatonin can help, too, sometimes. Or a bath.
 
I am sorry you have night terrors. I had them when I was a child and they went away for a long time. They resumed after the trauma. I meditate, get daily exercise, drink decaf or Sleepytime Tea (Celestial Seasonings), no alcohol close to bedtime (or none at all), no eating close to bedtime. I have a plushy fox that I can hold onto but even with all of that I still have NTs. Not every night, thankfully.
