I have some old pictures of Germany you younger guys might like. I'll try and dig them up.

Meanwhile, keep clickin'. Nice.

So this is taken from my Backdoor looking out eastwards over the stream and tree line at the edge of my land. NIce Dawn on Saterday just gone

Outstanding!!! Was this an auto focus or did you set it up manually? The color is fantastic.

Got this playing around with the settings. I have a bad habit of ramping up the shutter speed and that robs the color. So, I'm concentrating on slowing things down.

You'll like this...totally by accident. It appears to be a frozen lake taken with moonlight reflecting off the water. Actually it was throwing all caution to the wind, shooting directly into the sun with my little Nikon L18. The little camera closed down the aperture to a pin point, but was still able to get focus, surprised the heck outta me...

I entered it in the County Fair competition, didn't win anything but I was shooting against some very accomplished photogs.

Well me and cameras are a pretty new kind of match, so yeah it was done on full auto, all I had to do was press the botton :D

But the way the sun turns the grass orange is amazing, and it creeps all through the house. Every thing has that orangy tone to it.

I must be honest though there are so many bloody settings you can use, that half the time I am like a fish out of water. I realy notice it when I use Sigma 50-500 lens. 90% of the time the camera complains and doesn`t do anything. So it must be something withthe settings.

Eaglets!!! Well, not little biddy one's, older ones.

I think the one on the bottom is younger than the other, because he hasn't shed his brown feathers completely from his head like the other. I originally thought we had both Brown and Bald Eagles but learned today that they are all bald, just younger ones start out brown and then turn black with the white head and legs. I did have to photoshop them as we had to stay way far away from them or they would spook.

It doesn't show but they are both dining on a lunch of carrion, an elk had been hit down the road.

Fun!
