The reaction to the drugs must be so frustrating for you and a bit scarey for Anthony. :(

Thanks for you kind words.

I am alive but still need to rest for another 2 days minimum.

I have ordered a medical alert bracelet after what has happened as I can't take Maxalon (or it's other names such as Pramin) or Cogentin again. Apparently my reaction is rare in adults but we all know how I like to be "special" :whistling:

Major problem now is I hid my huge bag of snakes (lollies) and I can't even remember where I hid them :eek:. I was losing years, then months in time at the start; Anthony says I am still about a day behind as I can't even sort out what days I went to hospital, what calls I had him make to clients and can't even read my watch??:confused: As for typing, can't seem to do that either without using a finger at a time let alone proof read so for eveyone's best interests I am staying away. :rolleyes:

PS.... I apparently freaked Anthony out yesterday morning as, despite him shaking me etc, he couldn't get any sense from me. Apparently I was slurring, talking incoherently, talking as if the past was the present and had no concept of where I was or what was happening so had to go to hospital via ambulance. My co-ordination is up the creek and I have gone to do things like put a cup on the bench and totally mis-judged it. :ninja:

I'm probably speaking gibberish now so best say bye until I am better.

I really hope that you are feeling a bit better. I would be freaked as well, is this a side effect of the medication? Really wishing you well.

It is available under various trade names including Maxolon (Shire/Valeant), Reglan (Schwarz Pharma), Degan (Lek), Maxeran (Sanofi Aventis), Primperan (Sanofi Aventis), Pylomid (Bosnalijek), Cerucal (AWD Pharma), and Pramin (Generic). Perinom (in Nepal)


Cogentin (benztrophine) the antidote has similar side effects. However, as the initial reaction was from Maxalon they are saying that is what I'm allergic too and that I suffer the side effects of the antidote.
